Bio
Sara started as a mechanical engineer but shifted quickly into continuous improvement when she became a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. After several years in manufacturing, Sara transitioned to Digital Transformation, saving $12M and reducing defects by 25%. As the Senior Director of Data Analytics at GE Transportation, gaining firsthand experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.In 2020, Sara launched Leverage4Data to provide software user-friendly software with embedded analytics. In 2021, Leverage4Data partnered with Virtual IT Solutions and 9 Point to form Virtual Leverage, a powerhouse IT company.In 2023, Sara rebranded Leverage4Data to focus on training. Her newsletter, The Efficiency Explorer, provides digestible insights and how-to guides to help any employee improve their workflow through technology using a lean six sigma, data-oriented foundation.Sara is an experienced speaker and podcast guest.
